In 1960, the Holtkamp firm built a three-manual organ for the Central Christian Church in Lexington, Kentucky. The original organ has been preserved without modifications. However, it was expanded in 1990 by the Associated Organ Builders to include two digital divisions (Antiphonal and Chancel) and some digital registers on the original instrument.
The organ was renovated by Holtkamp in 2023. The digital expansions were removed. The original pipes from 1960 werd restored and revoiced. The instrument was put back into use in September 2023.
