Built by: Johann Christoph Pfützner (1755)
In 1754-1755 Johann Christoph Pfützner built an organ for the church of Höckendorf together with his companion Andreas Mager. It is an organ with ten stops on one manual and an independent pedal. It is relatively well preserved. Julius Jahn carried out major maintenance and cleaning of the organ in 1911. The old front pipes were removed in 1917. Hermann Eule renovated the organ in 1935-1936. He replaced the wooden pipes of the Gedackt 4' with tin pipes. In 1956 the action was shifted by Jehmlich, to lower the pitch. They also installed a storage bellows. An unknown organ builder made a modification in the design in 1991 and new front pipes were installed. In 2014 the organ was overhauled. The original pitch has been restored.
