In 2018 Kristian Wegscheider built an organ for the Gewandhaus in Leipzig. It is a two-manual organ built in Baroque style. The organ is easy to move. It consists of two parts, a main organ with a manual and pedal, and a Truhenorgel (box organ). The chest organ can also be disconnected and played separately. The instrument was put into use on 31 October 2018.
