The organ contains older material: Organ case from 1861 by Johan Gustaf Ek
In 1860-1861 Johan Gustaf Ek built a new organ for Fors Kyrka in Jämtland. It was an eight-stop organ with an attached pedal. In 1895 a Subbass was installed on the pedal. The interior was disassembled in 1923 and transferred to Marieby Kyrka. The Jehmlich company from Dresden built a new two-manual organ with fifteen registers in Ek's organ case. The instrument was restored by Setterquist in 1954. The disposition has also been modified. The current organ was built in 1973 by Gustaf Hagström behind the 1861 facade.
