The organ contains older material: Prospect from 1842 by Pehr Olof Gullbergson
In 1842 Pehr Olof Gullbergson built an organ for Flens Kyrka with seven stops. This instrument was replaced in 1924 by a new organ by Olof Hammarberg with eleven stops. The prospect from 1842 has been preserved. Behind this facade, Magnus Fries built a new organ with 21 stops in 1966-1967. He extended the organ case on both sides. This organ has also been replaced. In 1981 Åkerman & Lund completed the current organ. The prospect was restored to the situation of 1842. Six registers can be used on manual I or manual II by choice.
