- In 1838 Pehr Zacharias Strand built a new organ for Kalmar Domkyrka. The organ was in use here until 1883. In that year Åkerman & Lund transferred the organ to Vissefjärda Kyrka. The organ has been modified over time. The register action was made pneumatic. This was reconstructed mechanically during a restoration by Johannes Künkel in 1971.
- In 2000-2001, the Ålems Orgelverkstad company carried out a reconstruction of the original concept from 1838. On February 2, 2001, the organ was put back into use with a concert by Thomas Niklasson, organist of the Domkyrka in Kalmar.
- Four stops date from 1759, and were taken over by Strand from the previous organ of the Domkyrka. This pipework is manufactured by Lars Wahlberg.
