After an extension of the church building in Burg, Eduard Sebald built a new organ in 1969-1970. The organ case was designed by Peter van Stipelen, with paintings by Franz Niepor. Consultants for the construction of the organ were Rudolf Oehms and Rudolf Heinemann. The doors of the Brustwerk can be opened and closed from the console. The organ was dedicated on November 17, 1974, after which Wolfgang Oehms played the inaugural concert.
