1932 Th. Frobenius & Sønner  modify stoplist

  • Jonas Ekengren built a pipe orgel fot Mariakyrkan in Båstad in 1792. The instrument had eleven stops. When a new organ was built in 1918 by Frobenius with 25 stops, behind the facade of Ekengren, the historic instrument was dismantled and stored.
  • In 1929 this organ has been relocated by A. Magnusson to the 'Vapenhuset' (Armory Room) with a new organ case and prospect. The original Vox Virginea 8' (discant) and Trompet 8' (bass) were replaced by a Fugara 8' (B/D) on this occasion. The Fugara consists of older pipework by Salomon Molander. The missing pipes of the Diapason 8' and Principal 4' (that remained in the prospect in the church) were added, also using existing pipes by Pehr Zacharias Strand (Diapason) and Salomon Molander (Principal).
  • The company Frobenius replaced the bass of the Fugara by a Prestant 4' in 1932. Pipes were used from the old organ of the Domkyrka in Lund, manufactured by Pehr Zacharias Strand.
