The Casavant firm built a new organ for Central Steele Creek Presbyterian Church in Charlotte in 1979. It was designed by Gerhard Brunzema, employed by Casavant. Adviser was Richard Peek. On May 11, 1980, the organ was inaugurated with a concert by Richard Peek.
