  • The organ in the roman catholic church of Saint Louis in Louisville, Ohio, was built as opus 350 of the company Pilcher in 1898. In 1962, the organ has been repaired by a member of the congregation, after damage by water leakage. A new pedal board with 32 keys (in stead of 27) and electric key action was installed on this occasion.
  • In 1987 a restoration of the instrument was carried out by Charles M. Ruggles. He renewed the leather of the bellows, expanded the pedal couplers from 27 to 32 keys, and reconstructed the octaves coupler. The Oboe Gamba 8' of Swell was replaced with a Trumpet 8' and the pedal was expanded with a Violon 8', both manufactured by Johnson in 1878. A new Trombone 16' was also added to the pedal. The windchest of Great was expanded for the future installation of a Mixture. On October 18, 1987, the organ was re-dedicated.
