In 1894, the company Steinmeyer built a new organ for the Johanneskirche in München-Haidhausen. The instrument was relocated to a new church iun 1912, but in 1919 it was replaced and sold toe the roman catholic parish of Sömmersdorf. Steinmeyer installed the organ in the Johannes der Täuferkirche in this village in 1920.
