- The organ of the Village Church in Cummington, Massachusetts, is a historic instrument, that was built in 1875 by the Pomplitz Church Organ Company. The organ was installed in Cummington in 1903 by Emmons Howard. The previous location was Trinity Episcopal Church in Staunton, Virginia, but it is not certain that this was the first location. Howard Emmons constructed a new organ for the church in Staunton in 1902 and transferred th Pomplitz to Cummington. It seems that the organ was relocated without major modifications.
- In 1979-1981 a restoration of the organ has been carried out by the company Czelusniak & Dugal. The Swell Oboe had to be reconstructed. The first part of the restoration was completed in June 1979, but the official inaugurational concert was given on May 17, 1981 by Thomas Murray.
