The parish church of the Heiligste Dreifaltigkeit (Holy Trinity) in Augsburg was built in the years 1866-1868 in gothic revival style. On July 16, 1944, the church was destroyed by bombings. The church was rebuilt in a somewhat different style, to a design of Michael Kurz. The company Steinmeyer installed a new three manual organ with 38 stops in 1950. The prospect is also a design of Michael Kurz. At first the Hauptwerk with ten stops and the pedal were dedicated. In 1958, the organ was completed with Schwellwerk and Positiv, and the still missing pedal stops.
