J.E. Dodd built a pipe organ for Saint John's Lutheran Church in Tanunda, that as dedicated on August 1st, 1920. The church has been built in 1861 and was enlarged in 1881. Originally, the organ was located on the church floor, but in 1928 it was relocated to the gallery. Renovations were carried out in 1969 and in 1993. In 1969, the original Cornopean of Swell was replaced with a Fifteenth. In 1993 the Mixture was moved from Swell to Great, and on the spot on Swell, a new Nazard was installed.
