Built by: J.C. Bishop & Son (1877)

In 1877, the company Bishop & Son built a new organ for Saint Peter's Anglican Cathedral in North Adelaide. The instrument was consecrated at the same day as the church building, July 1st, 1878. This organ was located on the church floor near the choir. After the completion of the church in 1904, the organ was too small. A new organ could be dedicated in 1930, and the Bishop organ was relocated to Saint Augustine Angelican Church in Unley. This church had been dedicated in 1924. The organ was opened at the new location in 1931.
