Westbourne Park Uniting Church was built in 1925. In 1939, the church was enlarged. In the same year, a pipe organ was installed by the company Gunstar Organ Works. It was a unit organ, that was rebuilt in 1952 by J.E. Dodd Gunstar Organ Works. In 1994 the decision was made to replace this instrument with a new mechanical organ with slider chests. The old organ was sold to a private person. Roger H. Pogson built the new organ, with sixteen stops on two manuals and pedal, and mechanical slider chests. It happens to be the last organ that was constructed by this company.
