North Adelaide Baptist Church was built to a design by James Cumming. The church could be opened in November 1870. The organ builder J.W. Wolff placed an organ in the church in 1876. It was dedicated on July 4, 1876. This instrument was replaced in 1890 by the current organ, built by the firm Fincham & Hobday.
