The instrument also had been a donation by James Gartrell. The organ had twelve stops on two manuals and pedal.
- In 1971, the church became the building ot he Uniting Church of the Methodist Church, Church of Christ and Congregational Church in Dulwich and Rose Park. The organ had been rebuilt and enlarged before this time by the company J.E. Dodd & Sons in 1948 and in 1966. A number of unit ranks were added to the original instrument.
