  • The church of Saint John in Omaha was consecrated on May 6, 1888. The building is a design of P.J. Creedon in gothic revival style. The church was constructed for the Jesuites, who also founded Creighton University, next to the church. It is a parish church since 1897. In the years 1922-1927, the church was enlarged.
  • The pipe organ was installed in 1955 by the Wicks Organ Company. It replaced an older organ, but only the windmotor was taken over from this instrument. In 1993, Wicks overhauled the organ and installed a modern combination action. The organ contains a lot of extensions and transmissions. It is located on the rear gallery of the church, above the main entrance.
