On October 10, 1790, a pipe organ was dedicated in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Philadelphia. This church, inaugurated in 1742, was destroyed by a major fire in the evening of December 26, 1794. The almost new organ was lost. It was one of the largest organst that were built by David Tannenberg.
