The organ in the church of Shirley was originally built in 1905 for the First (Sharon) Lutheran Church in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania by A.B. Felgemaker, organ maker in Erie, PA. It is opus 882 of this builder. When the instrument became redundant, it was relocated to Shirley Village via the Organ Clearing House in 1977. J.R. McFarland dismantled the organ in Selinsgrove. Alan Laufman and Mark Harley installed the instrument after a revision in the church. There was an electronic organ in use since 1950, when the previous pipe organ - built by E.L. Holbrook - was removed.
