Built by: J.H. & C.S. Odell (1888) - opus 252
In 1888, the brothers Odell installed a small two-manual organ in the chapel of the Holy Cross Academy, 343 West 42nd Street, New York City. The instrument became redundant in 1973, when the chapel was closed and demolished. Via the Organ Clearing House it could be relocated to the Congregational Church in Acton, Massachusetts, where is was installed by the Andover Company in 1977. In 1999, the prospect pipes were painted again in Victorian style.
