The Musiksaal of the casino in Basel was opened in 1876. In 1905, a concert organ was installed above the stage. The company Metzler & Söhne built a new concert organ in 2019-2020, behind the facade of 1905. The new organ has two consoles: one directly at the organ, and one freestanding movable console. The fourth division, called 'Winddynamische Orgel' can only be played from the attached console. The organ was inaugurated on September 4, 2020.
