- The Zachäuskirche in Gröbenzell was built in 1955-1956, and could be dedicated on September 23, 1956. The building replaced a smaller church in the Lerchenstraße. A small organ with five stops was installed in 1960 by the company Walcker & Cie.
- The name Zachäuskirche was given to the church in 1976. The company Deininger & Renner built a new organ for the church in 1983, that was dedicated on March 11, 1984.
