1929 Whitehouse Bros  new organ
2014 Peter Jewkes  new organ
2018 Peter Jewkes  maintenance/reparations

  • In 1929, the company Whitehouse Bros. built a new organ for Saint Paul's Presbyterian Church in Armidale. The instrument has pneumatic action. The pipework was ordered at Alfred Palmer & Sons in London, UK. The organ has eleven stops on two manuals and pedal. Remarkable is that on the console five stops are mentioned, that are not present. They seem to be prepared for, but there is no room on the wind chests.
  • The instrument has been overhauled by Peter Jewkes in 2014. In 2018 the bellows were releathered by Jewkes.
