- The organ was restored by the South Island Organ Company in 1980. The moved the Harmonic Flute 4' of Great to the Swell, on a clamp at the rear of the organ. A new Octave 4' was added to Great.
- In 1981, the organ was transfered to the Cathedral Grammar School Chapel in Christchurch by Bernard Bicknell. When this buildind had to be demolished after the earthquake on September 3, 2010. The organ was taken in to storage. After a renovation it has been installed in Sorrento in 2019 by Hargraves Pipe Organs.
