The church of Sankt Barbara in Iveldingen was dedicated in 1983. It replaced an older chapel, that was - however - restored and classified as a landmark. In the old chapel was a pneumatic organ of poor quality. The company Verschueren of Tongeren installed a second hand organ, coming from a closed cloister in the province of Limburg. They replaced the prospect pipes with new ones and installed a new Krummhorn. Some wooden pipes of the previous chapel organ were also installed. The instrument was dedicated in 1983 or 1984.
