Thanks to a donation by Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt Wallace, the Janet Wallace Fine Arts Center could be built in Saint Paul, Minnesota, as part of the Macalester College. For the auditorium (also called Concert Hall) a four-manual organ with 57 ranks was built by the Aeolian-Skinner company. Consultant was Ian Morton, head of the music department of the college.
