Built by: Stephan Schumacher (1970)

  • In 1970, Stephan Schumacher placed a small organ with three ranks in the chapel of the Mainson de Repos of the Couvent 'Gensterbloem' in Hombourg. The buildings were erected in 1875 for Franciscanian Sisters. It was not only a cloister, but also a catholic school. The chapel was built in 1910, and was dedicated to Saint Antoine. Since 1918 the buildings were in use as an elderly home.
  • The sisters left the premises (also called 'Agnus Dei') in 2002, and moved to a modern building. The old buildings were sold, but a large fire destroyed a large part of it a couple of weeks later. Since then the ruins are still standing. It is very likely that the organ was transfered to the new building.
