  • On September 27, 1898, a new three-manual organ was dedicated in the Église Saint-Vaast in Armentières. It was built by the Parisien organ build Aristide Cavaillé-Coll. The inauguration concert was played by Eugène Gigout.
  • The church was destroyed during the first World War in 1917. The organ was lost. A new church in neo-gothic style was constructed after the war.
