  • The maiin organ of Saint John's Episcopal Cathedral in Los Angeles was built in 1924 by Ernst M. Skinner as opus 446. The fundings for the organ were given to the church by Kate Van Nuys Page in memory of her mother Susan Van Nuys. Some stop s were installed in 1926.
  • In 1971 the firm Abbott & Sieker renewed the Great Division, to make the organ more suitable to play Baroque music. In 1979 Robert L. David enlarged the organ with an Antiphonal Division. This was built with pipes from the dismantled organ of Saint Paul's Cathedral in Los Angeles, built by Murray Harris.
  • Manuel Rosales is having the maintenance of the instrument today. He has worked on the organ several times, including reworking and revoicing of the newer material, to make it better fitting in the sound that Skinner was having in mind.
