Saint Clement's Church in Yass was built in the years 1847-1850. The design was by E.T. Blacket. The church was dedicated with Easter 1850. In 1859 a tower was added to the building, and in 1879 it was enlarged with a second nave. In 1876, so three years before the enlargement of the church, William Davidson installed the pipe organ. It was ever modified. In 1980 the firm Brown & Arkley restored the instrument.
