The first organ in the baroque church of Axams was built in 1737 by Johann König. In 1908 Karl Reinisch (the second) built a new pneumatic organ in the old case with nineteen stops. This instrument has been replaced in 1975 by the current - again mechanical - organ, built by Reinisch-Pirchner.
