Year | Builder | Opus | Activity | 1893 | James Conacher | new organ | 1974 | Geoffrey Kendall | restoration |
- James Conacher built a pipe organ in 1893 for Saint Stephen's Presbyterian Church, 72 George Street in Bathurst. The action has been electrificated by Geoffrey Kendall in 1974. They placed a new console with a larges compass of 61 keys in stead of 56. On Great Kendall placed a new Trumpet.
- In 2018 the organ was declared redundant and moved to the Roman Catholic Cathedral of Saint Michael and Saint John in Bathurst. The cathedral did have an organ from 1877, but this instrument was removed during restoration works in the years 1960-1970. Since then no pipe organ was present in the building. Because of renovations of the interior of Saint Stephen's Church, they wanted the organ to be removed soon, so the cathedral got the organ for free and only had to pay for the work to be done.
