The organ of the Sankt Emmeramkirche in Regensburg was originally built by Joseph Christoph Egedacher from Salzburg in 1699. From his instrument only the organ case remains. In 1731, the organ was rebuilt and enlarged by Konrad Brandenstein. His stoplist is known, but the original specification of Egedacher is not. The current organ was built behind the prospect in 1900 by the company Binder & Siemann. This organ was rebuilt and enlarged in 1959 by Eduard Hirnschrodt. Consultant during these works was Heinrich Wiesmeyer from München.
