In 1952, Georges Schwenkedel placed an organ in the Église Saint-Louis in Neuf-Brisach. The church was damaged in 1945 during World War II, and the Martin Rinckenbach organ from 1877 was lost. In 1982 a new organ was built for this church by Alfred Kern with a classical organ case. The Schwenkedel organ has been overhauled by Antoine Bois and transferred to the Église Sainte-Marie in Colmar. In 2001 Pierre Bois carried out major maintenance.
