- In 1971, the Hendrickson Organ Company firm completed a two-manual organ for the Koren Library Reading Room in Luther College's 'Koren' building in Decorah, Iowa. The instrument was the first organ that this company built with slider chests. During construction, a separate Trumpet section was built on its own electric windchest with 16-, 8- and 4-foot Trumpets.
- In 1980 the organ was overhauled by David Engen and transferred to the Sundt Organ Studio in the Jenson-Noble Hall of Music. The separate trumpet chest was removed, and the Trompette 8' was placed horizontally on the Great Organ on a mechanical chest.
