- Saint Paul’s Anglican Church in Burwood is gebouwd in de jaren 1871-1883. De firma William Davidson bouwde in de jaren 1878-1887 een orgel met vijftien registers voor de kerk. In de jaren 1890-1891 is door hem een nieuw orgel gebouwd met drie manualen en pedaal, waarbij het materiaal uit het eerste orgel opnieuw is gebruikt. Het front is vrijwel zeker ontworpen door Arthur Blacket.
- Het orgel werd in 1905 gereviseerd door Charles Richardson. Hij plaatste het instrument iets naar voren. Het zwelwerk breidde hij uit met een Clarion 4'. In 1915 is het pedaalklavier vervangen en in 1930 plaatste S.T. Noad een windmotor. Op een lege sleep plaatste Noad in 1960 tijdens een restauratie een nieuwe Flauto Traverso 8' (TC), die echter in 2005 is vervangen door een Flautina 2'. Het orgel is in twee fasen gerestaureerd door Peter Jewkes, fase een in 2000-2001 en fase twee in 2004-2005.
