The organ history of the Evangelische Kirche in Rheinböllen started in 1745 with an organ by Johann Michael Stumm. This organ was lost to artillery fire in March 1945, causing the entire church to burn out. After the rebuilding of the church, a second-hand Walcker organ from 1915 was bought in 1967, coming from the Evangelische Kirche in Frechen. This was an instrument with fourteen stops. Despite a renovation in 1978, this organ was no longer usable after a few years, and a restoration was not considered useful. In 2002 Rainer Müller built a new organ for the church, which was dedicated in August 2002. Müller built the new organ in Walcker's case.
