Voor de kerk van Saint Michael & All Angels in Christchurch leverde de firma Bevington & Sons in 1873 een tweeklaviers orgel. Het werd in 1898 door Fincham & Hobday omgebouwd en uitgebreid met een derde manuaal. In 1941 voerde firma Lawton & Osborne groot onderhoud uit. Het instrument is gerestaureerd in 2013 door de South Island Organ Company.
