  • The Austin company built a new organ for Saint Matthew's Church in Charleston, South Carolina in 1966-1967. The previous organ was lost in a fire on January 13, 1965. It was an Austin organ from 1946. The new organ has three keyboards and pedal, with a small Chancel Organ and a floating Positiv division. The chancel or antiphonal organ could be taken from the previous instrument, because it was not seriously damaged by the fire. The console is also connected with the bells in the church tower.
  • The organ was renovated in 2015 by the Austin company.
