De Katholische Pfarrkirche Sankt Michael in Stadtallendorf is gewijd op 1 oktober 1961. Op palmzondag, 15 april 1962 werd een orgel van de firma Kreienbrink in gebruik genomen. Het werd geleverd als 'Gebrauchtorgel', dus bestond zeer waarschijnlijk uit oudere materialen. Dit instrument is in 1999 vervangen door een nieuw.
