The Church of Saint Peter and Saint Paul in Blockley dates from the twelfth century. The church building was used as a parish church under the name of Saint Mary in the television series Father Brown. The church contains an organ by the firm Bishop & Son from 1882. It originally stood on a gallery on the tower wall, but was moved to the northeast side of the nave in 1923.
