- All Saints Church in Cockermouth was built in 1854 to a design by Joseph Clarke. An organ was installed by the firm of Forster & Andrews. This instrument was expanded in 1891 by the company Jardine. In 1910 the parish became independent, until then it belonged to Brigham. The Jardine company was commissioned to convert the organ and expand it with a third manual. This work was completed in 1912.
- Due to the poor condition of the organ, it was decided at the end of the twentieth century to no longer use it, but to replace it with an electronic organ.
