  • In 2016, the Klais company built a new concert organ for the main hall of the Hochschule für Musik in Würzburg. The design was based on the organ by Johann Friedrich Wender from 1703, which he built for the church in Arnstadt on the advice of Johann Sebastian Bach. The disposition was subsequently expanded with different registers from other periods of organ music. There are four manuals and pedal, but the pipework of both divisions of the fourth keyboard (Solowerk and Fernwerk) has not yet been placed. Some pedal registers are also reserved. It is remarkable that Klais has opted for different unit registers and many transmissions. Consultant was Christoph Bossert.
  • The organ replaced an instrument of Steinmeyer (opus 2129) with three manuals and 39 stops, dating from 1966.
