Forster & Andrews built a new organ for the Church of Saint Mary in Kirkby Lonsdale in 1862. This organ was rebuilt in 1924 by the Jardine & Co company. In 1972 the firm of Laycock & Bannister carried out a rebuild. Particularly on Swell, several registers have been replaced by others (including Voix Celeste by Fifteenth, Oboe by Clarion and Violin by Mixture 3 ranks).
