1967 Ludwig Wastlhuber  new organ
2016 Thomas Jann  rebuild

  • In 1967 Ludwig Wastlhuber built a large organ with 34 stops for the Liebfrauenkirche in Burghausen. It was built with electrical action, a neo-Baroque sound. The instrument was constructed with free-standing pipework on three galleries.
  • The Jann company converted the organ in the years 2015-2016. The sound has been transformed into a more fundamental character. The disposition has also been radically modified. The renewed organ was dedicated in February 2016. Heinrich Wimmer played the inaugurational concert.
