- In 1861, Elias and George G. Hook completed a new organ for the Eighth Methodist Church in Boston, known as the Tremont Street Methodist Church. The instrument served here until the church closed in 2016, when it was sold to the Hammond Street Congregational Church in Bangor, Maine.
- The organ was restored and transferred by A. David Moore. The first part could already be played in March 2016. In Bangor there were still remains of an older organ by the same builders, opus 159 from 1854. The case of this instrument was used during the rebuilding. The renovated organ is dedicated to the memory of the Libbey-McClure family.
