The organ in the church of Montignies-lez-Lens was built in 1810 by Antoine Coppin. It was almost certainly built for another church, and was placed in Montignies by the Cappuyns-Keulemans firm. The organ was restored in the years 1955-1956 by the company Joris from Hasselt. The disposition is no longer the original. The Quinte 2 2/3' (divided) was replaced by a Flûte Harmonique (bass) and Trompette (descant), but this Trompette is missing. The Bourdon 16' stands on the slide f a Fourniture. Three choirs are missing from the Cornet.
