Saint Joseph Church in Brooklyn was dedicated in 1912. The design of the building was by Francis J. Berlenbach. The organ in the church is older than the building. It dates from 1887, and was built by A.B. Felgemaker. In 1908 the Möller Company installed it in the church, that was not completed yet. The organ was enlarged by them. For a long time this organ stood on the gallery without being played anymore. When the church as dedicated in 2013 to be a co-cathedral, major renovation works to the building were carried out. The Peragallo Pipe Organs Company got the contract to renew the organ. They designed a new instrument with a French romantic character, using the old organ cases and parts of the pipe ranks. The organ was dedicated on September 27, 2015, with Christopher Houlihan playing the organ.
